O'Connor in for Cork - Wednesday, July 01, 2009
Kieran O'Connor has been drafted into the Cork half back line for Sunday's Munster SFC final against Limerick at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
O'Connor has been given the nod ahead of Ger Spillane to replace the suspended Noel O'Leary in the only change from the side that defeated Kerry in the semi-final replay. O'Leary and Kerry's Paul Galvin were both sent off on straight red cards following an off-the-ball incident during the first half of that game.
The long-serving John Miskella has won his battle to be fit and lines out at right half back, while the towering Michael Cussen has to be content with a place on the subs bench once again.

Rebels regain title - Friday, June 26, 2009
Cork regained the Munster JFC crown at Pairc Ui Chaoimh last night following an emphatic victory over Clare.
The success is a further boost to the Rebels who have already claimed the All-Ireland under 21 title this year and are gearing up for a Munster senior final meeting with Limerick.
Fielding a vastly experienced line-up that included four of this year's All-Ireland under 21 winners, the home side were always in control against a game but limited Clare team. Cork got off to a flyer when Ciaran Sheehan, who is soon to embark on an Aussie Rules career, goaled after just 20 seconds, and they went on to lead by 1-11 to 0-5 at half-time.

Drake rescues replay for Rebels - Friday, June 26, 2009
Extra-time failed to separate old rivals Cork and Tipperary in this cracking ESB Munster MHC semi-final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Wednesday night.
The Premier County were denied victory in normal time by a goal from Cork substitute Brian Hartnett, and it was a similar story at the end of extra-time when David Drake held his nerve to slot over the equaliser from a '65.
Tipp were the better team in the first half of normal time, but James Coughlan's 23rd minute goal saw them trail by 1-6 to 1-7 at the interval. Another goal by Eoin O'Sullivan three minutes after the resumption, followed by a point from Paul Haughney, gave the home side a five-point lead.
